
Xander Griffith
http://www.xandergriffith.comXander Griffith is a self taught felt artist living in Vancouver, WA. The first years of his artist career were spent working in conjunction with different regional burning man events. Along with his girlfriend they created one of kind disco balls for the events. In February 2020, one of these disco balls was accepted at the Portland Winter Lights festival. As a fiber artist, Xander has exhibited and has permanent installations at the Portland International Airport, Rose Haven, Ascend Tattoo, The Ronald Mcdonald House of Charities in Tucson, AZ, Powells Books, The Vancouver Public Library, The Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River and the forestry department of Oregon State University. He has worked with Bridge Meadows in creating one of a kind art for their yearly galas. Xander is part of a group of arts working together with the Maryhill Museum on the Exquisite Corpse project for 2022. He has taught workshops with the Washington Arts Education Association and is currently on the Oregon Public Art Roster 2020-2022.
