McGlasson Textile Prize Winner Pablo V. Cazares is a trans artist, mixed race artist, and neurodiverse artist, seeking to transcend the boundaries of identity to explore themes of difference, translation, and what we have in common. Recent PSU graduate, he was nominated for the ISC’s Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award, awarded the Visionary Award at InventOregon 2023 for his work with kombucha biotextiles, and created and curates The t4t Art Collective.
