Maker Mayhem Kids Loom Workshop at elle gallery + shop
October 19 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm PDT
A loom-building and weaving workshop for children ages 7-12.
Let’s celebrate Portland Textile Month by making a loom and a fiber art project! Children will share their perspective through a fun creative outlet as we learn their stories. We will be building our looms and making a weaving that reflects who we are and what makes up our lives using yarn and assorted materials, adding extra elements describing our past that makes us who we are and what future we hope for. This event is inclusive to all learning types and demographics, with expanded outreach to kids aged 7-12.
Registration will open on September 23rd.
