Launched in 2018 at Warren Wilson College, NC, this program is designed for you to study without uprooting your life — and to help you bring craft into view. Stop by on First Thursday to learn about the program and how it works to remove blindspots about education and voice, with Namita Wiggers, Program Director — former Director and Curator of Museum of Contemporary Craft — and Nathan Wyrick, Assistant Director of Admissions.

Help spread the word! ・・・ Craft histories are long — and there is a lot of work to do to get these histories out there. We can help you tell these stories. We have the platform to do it — an MA in Critical Craft Studies at Warren Wilson College. Not able to move to pursue graduate studies? No problem. This new low-residency program is designed to help you gain research, writing, and critical thinking skills without uprooting your life. Which craft do you want to think and write about?
