artist and designer Laurs Kemp will give a talk about her work, and how she has developed a low-waste, small-batch clothing line. She will also demonstrate a few of her favorite processes for reworking/upcycling existing garments. Laurs will use a white button-up
shirt as a starting point – feel free to set up your sewing machine and grab a button-up to sew along, or just come watch!
