Starting October 1, create puppets from reclaimed fishing gear to tell a Sea Story of transformation for our lands and people in this collaborative art exhibit.

Community-submitted Sea Stories will be filmed and broadcast online, or see them in person by visiting the window exhibit at Crema Café throughout October. At Crema, you can watch artists creating new work from a massive pile of reclaimed fishing gear, see community-submitted puppets, and watch each puppet’s story on a street-facing TV.
To participate: make a puppet, tell its story, and send it in to the exhibit! Materials kits available at 3 locations in Portland or by mail.
